As many as 11 beggars secured from some location such as Sunda Kelapa Mosque, in front of Jakarta City Hall, and TPU Karet Bivak, while dozens of others were driven by officers in a persuasive manner.

"We deploy officer because we predicted some of beggar will beg during Eid," told Central Jakarta Sub-Department Head, Susana Budi Susilowati, Saturday (7/18).
To prevent it, her side deployed 50 Service, Monitoring, and Handling Social (P3S) officers of Central Jakarta Social SUb-Department.
"We deploy personnel only to prevent them from begging, but if they are stubborn, we will secure them to our car," she explained.
